Founded in 1979, the Blue Ridge Ski and Outing Club began as a small group of skiing enthusiasts who wanted to share their passion for winter sports in the Blue Ridge Mountains region.
Over the decades, we've grown into a thriving community of outdoor adventurers who enjoy a wide range of activities throughout the year. From our humble beginnings with just a dozen members, we now have over 150 active participants from across Virginia, the country and abroad.
Throughout our history, we've organized thousands of trips to ski resorts across the East Coast, West Coast and around the world from Switzerland to Canada and New Zealand to Argentina. Creating countless memories and lifelong friendships among our members. Our club has evolved with the times, but our core mission of bringing together people who love the outdoors remains unchanged.
