How Our Trips Work

From registration to the trip itself, here's what you can expect when you join one of our adventures.

Registration

Select your trip, complete the trip application online, at a monthly meeting, or at one of our events. A deposit is typically required to secure your spot.

Preparation

Receive detailed trip information, packing suggestions, and any necessary forms. Trip leaders will communicate all important details.

Enjoy Your Trip!

Meet your trip leader and enjoy your trip with the group and enjoy a well-organized adventure with fellow club members.

Trip Policies

Registration & Payment

  • Trip registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • A deposit is required to secure your spot typically approximately 25% of the trip cost.
  • Full payment is due 30-60 days before the trip departure date depending on trip.
  • Payment can be made by credit card, check, or cash.

Cancellation Policy

  • Non-refundable unless your spot is filled from the waiting list.
  • Trip insurance is recommended for expensive trips.

General Trip Guidelines

  • All participants must be current club members (with some exceptions for certain day trips).
  • Trip leaders have final authority on all trip-related decisions.
  • All participants must sign a liability waiver before the trip.
  • Appropriate gear and clothing are required for all trips.
